Winemakers Notes
It's hard to quantify [The Other's] massiveness year in and year out. All versions are big, some bigger than others with maybe this as the biggest to date. Sounds kind of scary actually but there's plenty of fruit to buffer the structure and a surprising amount of richness right as you think the tannic clamp down is coming. Bacon fat, black fruits, lavender and wet stones dominate.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate Tasting Notes

"Outpost has not overlooked one of the most underrated varietals in California, Petite Sirah. Their 2006 [Other] is massive, broodingly backward, and forebodingly purple-colored, dense wine that reveals scary levels of concentration and extract."
