Our Zinfandel comes entirely from our estate property located at 2,200 feet in elevation. Outpost grapes are harvested late in the season - by hand, at dawn - to preserve the full intensity and distinctive spicy character of the mountain fruit. Wines are neither fined or filtered allowing for the full expression of the vintages' potential.
Tasting Notes
"Aromas of blackberry and raspberry compote, vanilla bean, boysenberry kirsch and tobacco leaf all give way to a well-balanced and concentrated zinfandel for the 2022 vintage. Deep and brilliant color with garnet edges in the glass, the tannins are well polished and sweet yet provide a long, lingering finish that is already hard-to-resist." - The Team at Outpost, Previous Vintage Score 95 Points
